Web Strategist: Website Strategy Before You Build

One plan your builders can use, with every big call and every price signed off by you first.

The Web Strategist is an AI agent in the Ai1 platform by MyZone AI that sets your website strategy before you build: one plan with the sitemap, page plan, positioning, pricing layout and conversion paths, with any prices marked for your sign-off before anything is built.

What the Web Strategist does for you

  • Plans your sitemap and pages

Sets out every page you need, what each one is for, what goes on it and in what order, with the reason behind each choice.

  • Sharpens your positioning

Turns what makes you valuable into clear positioning and shows it in sample headlines and opening lines, not just principles.

  • Lays out pricing and packages

Structures your tiers, names, inclusions and value story. Any prices in the plan are recommendations for you to sign off, not final figures.

  • Maps how visitors convert

Decides which offers suit self-serve checkout and which need a demo booking, and sets out the steps for each path.

  • Places your best proof

Decides where your strongest features, case studies, quotes and reviews appear and in what format, so they land where they persuade.

  • Plans a clean move from your old site

Works from the list of pages you share to decide what to keep, merge or drop, so nothing valuable is lost.

How the Web Strategist differs from starting with a designer

Most rebuilds start with layouts, and the big questions get settled in design reviews. The Web Strategist settles them first: which pages you need, what each one says, how you are positioned, how pricing is laid out and which visitors check out or book a demo. It gives the reasoning behind each call, marks any prices for your sign-off and hands your builders a brief they can use.

How this differs from the Website Builder: the Website Builder builds the site and the CRO Agent audits a live one, while the Web Strategist plans your website first and the Leadership Strategist works on wider business strategy.

From your request to a finished result

It runs inside your Ai1 system and works in the tools you already use. You ask, it works, it reports, and it stops for your OK where it matters.

How the Web Strategist works: you ask through the Comms Hub and Ai1 runs the steps: share your inputs, make the calls, write the plan, you sign off and hand to your builders. You approve at: you sign off. It returns a website strategy document.

Step 1: Share your inputs

Hand over your goals, brand, research and, if you have one, a list of your current pages and figures.

Step 2: Make the calls

It weighs the evidence, brings in research, conversion and search specialists when a decision needs proof, and decides.

Step 3: Write the plan

You get one strategy document covering sitemap, page plan, positioning, pricing layout and conversion paths.

You approve

Step 4: You sign off

A short list of key decisions, including any prices, comes to you for approval before the plan moves on.

Step 5: Hand to your builders

Once approved, a build-ready brief goes to your website team to carry out.

Example: website strategy and sitemap

Example with a fictional company. Names, people and figures are invented to show the agent's output. Any resemblance to a real company or person is unintended. Industry facts are real and cited with their sources.

What it was asked: We rebuild our website next quarter, so before we brief a designer, tell us what the site should say, which pages we need, and whether small fleets should still have to book a demo.

Example report
The client's question, six key-number tiles for a fictional fleet software company's website, and three numbered cards, each with what was found, the call made and why.
The brief, what we found and the three calls
A sitemap of 19 pages grouped into product, who it's for, proof and buying pages, each tagged new, rewrite, merged or keep, next to counts of pages kept, merged, cut and added and a table of cut and merge decisions.
Sitemap: 19 pages, and what happens to today's 41
Three key messages, today's vague first screen beside the proposed first screen with a trial button and a pricing button, and a six-row plan of home page sections with the job of each.
Home page: what it says, and in what order
Three plan columns for small, mid-size and large fleets showing price display, what is included, sales involvement and the buying path, plus three success measures and three decisions awaiting sign-off.
Pricing, how each size of fleet buys, and what needs your sign-off

What it found: 3 findings, with the numbers

  • Pricing is your second most visited page, but it only says 'Contact us', and 61% of its visitors leave the site from there. Publish prices for fleets up to 75 vehicles.
  • Every visitor gets one 'Book a demo' button. Fleets of 25 vehicles or fewer are 52% of demos but 14% of new revenue; give them a free trial instead.
  • The home page's first screen never says what the product does or who it is for. Lead with maintenance and inspections for fleets of 10 to 250 vehicles, and cut 41 pages to 19.

The agent worked from an invented brief, three months of invented site figures, a list of the 41 current pages and a sales export, the way a client would supply them, and made the calls on sitemap, home-page message, pricing presentation and how each size of fleet buys. Two industry facts were checked on their source pages and cited. For this sample no live site was crawled and no research, conversion or search specialists were brought in, and exact prices are left for the client to sign off. Run date: .

It asks before it acts

Every Ai1 agent works under human approval. Here is how the Web Strategist keeps you in control.

  • It plans and does not build. The website itself is built by your website team after you approve the plan.
  • Any prices or dollar figures in the plan are recommendations to be signed off by you before build.
  • High-stakes decisions come to you as a short list for sign-off, each with the reasoning behind it.
  • It works from the research, figures and page lists you provide, and says where evidence is missing.

Frequently asked questions about the Web Strategist

What is a website strategy?

A website strategy is the plan behind a site: which pages it needs, what each one says, how the offer is positioned and priced, and how visitors become customers. The Web Strategist in Ai1 by MyZone AI writes it as one shareable document before anyone builds, with sample headlines, a pricing layout and a short list of decisions for your sign-off.

It recommends your tiers, what each includes and how to present the value. Any exact prices are flagged for you to sign off before build.

How do you plan a website sitemap?

List every page the site needs, what each page is for and what goes on it, then decide which existing pages to keep, merge or drop. The Web Strategist gives the reason behind each choice so your builders are not guessing.

What goes into a website migration plan?

Your current pages, each marked keep, merge or drop, so nothing valuable is lost in the move. The Web Strategist works from what you share, such as a list of your current pages and your site figures, and says where evidence is missing.

Where your research has gaps that matter, it brings in research specialists to fill them before it makes the big calls.

How is the Web Strategist different from the Website Builder and CRO Agent?

The Web Strategist plans your website before it is built. The Website Builder builds the site, the CRO Agent audits a live site for conversion problems, and the Leadership Strategist works on wider business strategy.
