Disk Health: Find What Fills Your Disk and Free Space Safely

More disk space, cleared only from items you approve.

The Disk Health is the server disk space cleanup agent in the Ai1 platform by MyZone AI: started by the Concierge, it reports what is filling your Ai1 server's disk biggest first, then clears only the items you approve, checking each one again and sending anything that is not a rebuildable cache to the trash first.

We'll show you the Disk Health on your own Ai1 server. Only the items you approve are ever cleared.

Plans & pricing

  • More room, without the risk

Space comes back from things that are safe to remove, starting with whatever takes up the most.

  • Your important data stays out of reach

Databases, live application data, source code, documents, uploads and public downloads are never in scope.

  • Reports in plain words

Each item is explained simply: what it is, how risky it is to remove and why it is safe.

  • A way back if you change your mind

Files that are not rebuildable caches go to the trash first, so they can be put back exactly where they were.

What the Disk Health does for you

  • Shows what is using space

Measures disk use and sorts it biggest first, with each item's size, risk and a recommendation. Nothing is moved or deleted at this stage.

  • Keeps only safe items in scope

An item qualifies only if it is rebuilt automatically, already kept in version control or confirmed unused. If that cannot be proved, it is left alone.

  • Clears only what you approved

Each approved item is checked again at the moment of action, so an old report is never trusted for today's clean up.

  • Uses the gentlest method that works

Rebuildable caches are deleted. Everything else goes to the platform trash, a safe file cleanup that can be undone for 30 days.

  • Restores from the trash

Puts a trashed item back exactly where it was, any time within 30 days.

  • Remembers your server's quirks

Keeps notes on false alarms and on items you said no to, so the same suggestion is not repeated.

How the Disk Health differs from a cleanup script

A cleanup script deletes whatever matches its rules, even a file still in use or one that cannot be rebuilt. Disk Health gives you a read-only report first, keeps only provably safe items in scope and clears only what you approve, checking each item again at the moment of action. Caches are deleted, other files go to the trash for 30 days, and databases, documents and source code are never touched.

How this differs from the Server Health: Server Health runs health checkups and incident reports from system statistics, while Disk Health finds what fills the disk and clears only the items you approve.

From your request to a finished result

It runs inside your Ai1 system and works in the tools you already use. You ask, it works, it reports, and it stops for your OK where it matters.

How the Disk Health works: you ask through the Comms Hub and Ai1 runs the steps: ask, analyse, you choose, clear and report. You approve at: you choose. It returns a disk use report.

Step 1: Ask

You ask the Concierge about disk space, and the Concierge starts Disk Health for that job.

Step 2: Analyse

Disk Health measures and reports what is using space. Nothing changes.

You approve

Step 3: You choose

You approve the items to clear, in chat. Anything you do not pick stays as it is.

Step 4: Clear

Only the approved items are cleared, and each one is checked again first.

Step 5: Report

You see what was cleared and what was skipped.

Hand these situations to the Disk Health

Illustrative photo. Asking the Concierge why the server's disk is almost full.
  • The disk is almost full and you want to know why
You get a disk usage report on the Disk Health tab listing each item with its size, risk and recommendation. Nothing is moved or deleted.
  • You have picked the items to clear
Those items are checked again and cleared to free up disk space, and everything else stays exactly as it is.
  • Something that was cleared turns out to be needed
It puts the item back from the trash to exactly where it was, as long as you ask within 30 days.
  • Nothing needs clearing
It tells you the disk is healthy. That is a good report, not a missed problem.

What you get

  • A read-only report of disk use, biggest items first
  • Each item's size, risk and a recommendation in plain words
  • A clean up of only the items you approved, each checked again first

Example: Disk report and approved clean up

Example with a fictional company. Names, people and figures are invented to show the agent's output. Any resemblance to a real company or person is unintended.

What it was asked: The server says the disk is almost full: tell us what is using it, then clear only what is safe and what we approve.

Example report
A read only disk overview with four key numbers and bars for eight areas of the disk, each marked never in scope, candidate or owner's judgment.
What is filling the disk
A table of six items with size, risk, why each is safe and a recommendation to delete, move to the trash or leave.
The plan, biggest first
Old public download files flagged with the question still meant to be public, beside unsaved website work and areas that are never in scope.
Needs your judgment
The owner's approval in chat, a results table where each item was checked again, one skipped, with before and after disk use.
Approved clean up

What it found: 3 findings, with the numbers

  • The disk was 92% full, and about 34 GB could go safely: old website builds, coding assistant snapshots, a package cache, one stale proof folder and finished session notes.
  • The owner approved five items in chat; three caches were deleted, one folder went to the trash for 30 days, and one was skipped because a reopened session was using it.
  • Disk use fell from 92% to 77%, while 12.6 GB of old client gallery downloads, still public by link, were flagged for the owner and left untouched.

A sample Disk Health report for a fictional studio in the agent's usual structure: a read only analysis (measure, sort biggest first, size, risk and a recommendation per item), the items that need the owner's judgment, and the clean up after the owner approved items in chat with the Concierge. All figures are invented; no real server or client files were read. Studio files, databases, source code, unsaved work and public downloads are never in scope, and one approved item was skipped, not worked around, when its re-check failed. Run date: .

It asks before it acts

Every Ai1 agent works under human approval. Here is how the Disk Health keeps you in control.

  • It acts only on items you approved in chat, and checks each one again at the moment of action.
  • Databases and their storage, live application data, source code, anything with unsaved work, documents, uploads, public downloads and your own tool installs are never touched.
  • Rebuildable caches are deleted; other files go to the trash first and can be restored for 30 days.
  • If the server refuses an action, it stops for that run and reports it. It never works around a refusal.
  • You do not talk to it directly. The Concierge starts it, one job at a time.

Frequently asked questions about the Disk Health

How can I free up disk space on a business server without risking data?

Start with items that are safe to remove: ones rebuilt automatically, already kept in version control or confirmed unused. In Ai1 by MyZone AI, Disk Health reports these biggest first and clears only the items you approve.

Some things are always left alone: databases and their storage, live application data, source code, anything with unsaved work, documents, uploads, public downloads and your own tool installs.

What should a disk usage report tell a business owner?

What is using space, biggest first, with each item's size, how risky it is to remove and a recommendation in plain words. Disk Health's report is read-only: nothing is moved or deleted until you approve items in chat with the Concierge.

Disk Health is available now on the Ai1 server it runs on, and the Concierge starts it. You don't talk to it directly: ask the Concierge.

What makes a server file cleanup safe to undo?

Using the gentlest method that works. Disk Health deletes only rebuildable caches, which are recreated automatically, and only items you approved.

Other files go to the platform trash first and can be put back exactly where they were within 30 days.

What if the server blocks a clean up step, and why are items checked again?

It stops for that run and tells you what happened. It never looks for a way around the refusal.

A disk changes over time, so an earlier report is never trusted for today's clean up. Each approved item is checked again at the moment of action.
