How the Market Intelligence Analyst differs from a web search

A web search gives you links to read and judge for yourself. The Market Intelligence Analyst does the reading: it works out whether your question is about competitors, customers, your industry or regulation, picks the right research approach, cross-checks what it finds and hands back a branded brief with a source behind every claim. When it cannot find evidence, it says so instead of guessing.

How this differs from the Research Agent: the Research Agent answers any one question, including questions about your own analytics, while the Market Intelligence Analyst runs recurring, branded briefs on competitors, customers and regulation.

From your request to a finished result

It runs inside your Ai1 system and works in the tools you already use. You ask, it works, it reports, and it stops for your OK where it matters.

How the Market Intelligence Analyst works: you ask through the Comms Hub and Ai1 runs the steps: ask, route, research, synthesise and deliver. It returns a competitive briefs.

What it won't do

Example: competitive landscape

Example with a fictional company. Names, people and figures are invented to show the agent's output. Any resemblance to a real company or person is unintended.

What it was asked: One of our rivals changed its pricing this month: map the competitive landscape for our core market, show where we are exposed and where the openings are, and tell us what to do next quarter.

Example report
Bubble chart of five fictional scheduling products by customer size and price per technician, with an under-served zone for firms with 10 to 40 technicians
Market map: where each product sits
Before and after price plans for a fictional rival, monthly cost for an 8-technician firm across products, and an estimate of how many customers may switch
What changed: a rival's price rise
Capability grid comparing five fictional products, highlighting a missing maintenance-contracts feature, beside a bar chart of reasons for 18 lost deals
Positioning gaps and lost deals
Four ranked recommendations with owner, deadline, success measure and confidence, plus three competitor moves to watch
Recommendations and watch list

What it found: 3 findings, with the numbers

  • Pipwick's September price change raised invoicing from £15 to £27 per technician a month (+80%), leaving an estimated 1,200 of its customers in Kettlemoor's size range open to switching.
  • Firms with 10 to 40 technicians are the least contested part of the map: Stellbeck is too heavy to set up, Pipwick and Dapplecote too light, and Castorline serves heating firms only.
  • Kettlemoor's biggest gap is planned maintenance contracts: both rivals selling to larger firms offer them, and it was the main reason given in 11 of Kettlemoor's 18 lost deals last quarter.

On client work the Analyst captures each rival's pricing page, help centre, release notes and app-store listings, reads recent public reviews and uses the client's own lost-deal records, marking every estimate with a range. In this example every company and figure is invented and no real websites were crawled; the structure, maths and checks are the same as a client report. Customer interviews, reseller channels and markets outside the UK and Ireland were not covered. Run date: .

Frequently asked questions about the Market Intelligence Analyst

What is AI market intelligence?

AI market intelligence is research on competitors, customers, your industry and regulation, gathered and summarised by an AI agent. The Market Intelligence Analyst in Ai1 by MyZone AI covers all four areas, cross-checks its findings and delivers cited, branded briefs you can share, either on demand or on a weekly, monthly or quarterly schedule.

You do not have to choose an area. Ask your question naturally and it works out which area applies and how to research it.

What is a competitive battle card?

A battle card is a short brief that helps your sales team handle a specific competitor. The Market Intelligence Analyst builds them from rivals' pricing, positioning, product moves and messaging, with a source behind every claim, so your team can check the evidence before using it.

Every claim is cited. It cross-checks before it reports, and if it cannot find evidence it tells you rather than filling the gap.

How can a business keep up with new regulations?

Set up a recurring scan. The Market Intelligence Analyst follows new laws, compliance requirements, enforcement actions and deadlines that could affect you, and says what you need to do and by when. A quarterly regulatory scan can run on a schedule, with a source for every finding.

The same works for any topic you want watched: ask for a recurring check, such as a weekly competitor digest or a monthly sentiment review, and it delivers reports on that schedule.

What does the Market Intelligence Analyst need from me, and what do the reports look like?

A clear question. For customer analysis it also needs access to the call transcripts, survey data or review feeds you want it to read.

You get branded reports you can share as a link with your team or stakeholders, with no extra formatting needed.
